Our story

Soft Companion is a three-engineer-led software development studio based in Thimi, Bhaktapur, Nepal. We started in 2018 building Android apps and have since grown into a full-stack practice spanning Android, web and cloud engineering — without losing the close-knit, hands-on way we work. We're pioneers of user-first software development: every product starts with the person who'll actually use it, not a feature list. That UX-driven approach shapes how we scope, design and ship every release — fewer unnecessary screens, faster paths to what people came to do, and interfaces that get out of the way. We stay small on purpose. Every line of code is written by one of the three engineers who own the product end to end, so there's no gap between the people making decisions and the people building them.
